CEU's Sustainable Campus Initiative, alongside students from the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy, collaborated on WasteFest 2013 – an event that took place March 19-21 to raise awareness on campus about how we can reduce the amount of waste CEU collectively produces as a community.
The CEU Sustainable Campus Initiative and Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy are proud to present a series of events dedicated to how we interact with waste on campus.
Prof. Brandon Anthony, Alina Szabo (PhD candidate), and Lusine Margaryan (ESP 2006-2007; currently PhD student at Mid Sweden University), all took part in Europe's 1st Workshop on Integrating Human Dimensions into Fish & Wildlife Management.

We are delighted that Diane Matar has won CEU's Academic Achievement Award for First-Year Doctoral Students.
"The CEU Academic Achievement Awards for First-Year Doctoral Students are meant to reward outstanding coursework and performance during the comprehensive exam. Annually there are 5-10 awards to be distributed. The awards amount to 500 EUR apiece."
