Paroma Wagle, our former student just received her PhD and an award at the University of California, Irvine

Paroma Wagle has just received her degree of Ph.D. in Planning, Policy, and Design from the Department of Urban Planning and Public Policy of UCI (University of California), Irvine.

She was also awarded the Don Owen Water Science and Technology Award from the University for her work in the field of water in both India and Southern California.

ISEPEI (In-Service ICT Training for Environmental Professionals) started as a joint project of UNEP's Global Universities Partnership on Environment and Sustainability (GUPES) and CEU with seed financing from UNEP and AGEDI, and has been conducting a series of environmental professional education events since 2014. The associated workshops are run under the organizational framework of the CEU Summer University.

Dr. Mariann Sz. Molnár defended her dissertation titled "What is the right thing to do? Perspectives on the 'moral imperative' and the 'ultimate goal' of farm animal welfare in Hungary" at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy in 2018 under the supervision of Dr. Alexios Antypas.
