The project developed and validated robust scenarios for CFL (compact fluorescent lightbulbs) promotional campaigns on European, national and regional levels. Campaigns were designed and carried out, preceded by market research activities and followed by monitoring and verification of the results. At the same time the project aimed to promote to all stakeholders a quality charter to assure that the CFL lightbulbs which are marketed and promoted can deliver savings which last over time and meet the customers' expectations of high quality lighting. The ultimate objective of this project was to substantially increase the efficiency of residential lighting.
