Moshahida Sultana is currently a PhD student at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy, Central European University, Budapest, Hungary. She is doing research on political economy of energy transition.
Moshahida completed her Master of City Planning degree from the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA. She also has a master degree in Economics from Northeastern University, Boston. She has completed her BSC in Economics from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey.
Moshahida teaches Economics at the Department of Accounting and Information Systems, University of Dhaka. She is currently on a study leave to pursue her PhD. Moshahida's research interest include environmental and resource economics, development economics, globalization, and political economy of development.
