The talk will have two main objectives: to present the French Institute (its organisation, its programmes in the sectors of cultural, higher education and scientific cooperation), and to present the French position on climate change, both through its preparation for the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris and through the actions organized by the Budapest French Institute in the coming months.
Bénédicte Williams is a programme officer in the French Institute’s sector for scientific, technical and higher education cooperation. Her area of responsibility is debate on social issues, with a specific focus on questions of environment in the framework of the preparation for Paris 2015. She is a graduate of CEU (MPhil in Political Science, 2008).
