Reka Vonnak is a PhD researcher at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy at the Central European University (CEU). Her research focuses on climate change mitigation in urban areas and energy modeling. She holds an MSc in Urban Analytics and an MA in Social and Public Policy from the University of Glasgow. She previously worked as a data scientist and software engineer developing control systems for renewable energy plants, machine learning applications for urban environments, and geospatial analyses. She has also worked on national urban development projects in Hungary.
