Alumna Jessica Jewell elected to the Young Academy of Sweden

Jessica Jewell, who completed an MS (2009) and PhD (2013) at the Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy has been elected to the Young Academy of Sweden.

The Academy, founded at the initiative of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, selects the most prominent younger researchers to give them a voice in policy debate and promotion of science and research. Jessica Jewell, who is an Associate Professor of energy transitions at Chalmers University of Technology, was among the top six researchers from disciplines as diverse as sociology and brain surgery, to join the Academy for the next 5 years.
