European Green Infrastructure Conference

EUGIC, a new major gathering of researchers, practitioners and innovators working on  nature based solutions (NBS) in cities was held in Budapest on 29-30 November, 2017. The department was represented by the team working on the Naturvation project. In the Horizon2020 session Professor Laszlo Pinter presented the recently completed Naturvation database of 1000 NBS in 100 European cities, and Attila Katona co-lead a story corner discussion on what has been done on NBS and can they deliver what we hope for.  The conference issued The Budapest Statement - A call for a greener vision for cities in Europe.
