Milos Milicevic is a PhD Candidate at the Central European University's Department of Environmental Sciences and Policy, researching environmental and wider social effects of a proposed shale oil mining project in southern Serbia. His interests include issues of environmental and social justice, how these are articulated and enacted through social movement activity and civic action and tackled by policy solutions. 

He holds an Engineer's degree in Organizational Sciences (B.A. + M.A. equivalent) from the University of Belgrade, and a Master of Science (Distinction) in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management awarded by four leading European Universities.

His multidisciplinary education is accompanied by a varied professional experience which includes work in marketing and communications, brand management, research and intelligence, consulting and academic work. 

He speaks BCMS (Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin and Serbian), English and some French and Spanish.
