Course Description: 

The course’s main aim is to provide students with an understanding of:

  • The role of particular resource for human well-being,
  • Existing methods of evaluation and assessment of availability of different types of resources (both renewable and non-renewable)
  • Environmental consequences of usage of different types of resources
  • Major challenges in the future resource availability and perspectives for resource recycling
Learning Outcomes: 
  • Understand  current  availability of major natural resources
  • Understand links between soil use, climate change and negative environmental consequences of using of varios types of natural resources
  • Understand the role of recycling and resource use for modern industry and future needs

Written assignment 80%
